Source Index

Source Index

The Source Index records where statements originate and how source reliability is assessed. It is designed for traceability, not promotion. Sources are listed with timestamps and access notes where applicable.

Source categories

  • Standards and specifications.
  • Official documentation and release notes.
  • Research papers and public datasets.
  • First-party measurements and test logs.

Assessment dimensions

  • Authority: whether the source is primary for the claim.
  • Recency: publication date and update pattern.
  • Stability: permalink availability and versioning.
  • Replicability: whether a third party can repeat the same lookup.

Usage protocol

For each page-level update, at least one source should be mapped in Citation Policy. Ambiguous evidence should be flagged in Open Questions rather than asserted as fact.
